Reinforcing Synergies, Semen Gresik Organizes Social Gathering with Media in Central Java
Rembang, April 10th, 2023 – PT Semen Gresik organized Silaturahmi dan Buka Puasa Bersama (a social gathering and an iftar feast) with dozens of Central Java-based media partners at the Novotel Semarang Hotel, Semarang, on Thursday (6/4).
Also in attendance was the Senior Manager of Communication and CSR of PT Semen Gresik Dharma Sunyata, the Chairman of Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia Jawa Tengah or PWI Jateng (the Central Java chapter of Indonesian Journalists Association) Amir Machmud NS, and the leaders of media and journalist organizations across Central Java.
In his welcome speech, the Senior Manager of Communication and CSR of PT Semen Gresik, Dharma Sunyata, expressed his appreciation to the media partners for the support and cooperation they provided throughout the years.
“We highly appreciate the support the media partners have provided us, and we hope that this great relationship could become a great motivation for the media crew to align visions and missions for years to come,” he stated.
Dharma continued that previously, PT Semen Gresik in synergy with PWI Jateng made history by successfully organizing Uji Kompetensi Wartawan (UKW, a competency test for journalists) for dozens of journalists across Joglosemar (Jogja, Solo, Semarang) regions at Yogyakarta.
“This great month of Ramadan is the best occasion for the company to strengthen its commitment to synergizing and providing support for the media partners across Central Java to grow even better,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of PWI Jawa Tengah, Amir Machmud NS, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to PT Semen Gresik, which had consistently supported the activities of the media partners throughout the years.
He added that one form of PT Semen Gresik’s tangible support was its participation in organizing six UKW activities in cooperation with PWI Jateng for four years. “Also, in the 7th UKW for Joglosemar regions,” he stated.
“Hopefully, this great synergy will always be maintained and developed, so that the media crew and the society can benefit from it,” he concluded.
